Contemporary white units by UK's Funktional Kitchens and stark marble countertops create a bright and airy feel in this modern kitchen. The French doors and sky lights bring loads of natural light into the space keeping energy costs low. The retro diner barstool is a perfect addition to the kitchen island.
A sleek ice-blue glass splashback and stainless steel appliances add to the crisp modern look. The open glass shelves are a brilliant contrast to the solid glossy cabinets. The sink however, is not in the best position - I would move it to the kitchen island. Would you change anything?
Oooooh I just love this! What a stunner! You're right about the sink though!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you and Erin - sink has to move! Otherwise this a fantastic kitchen. Love the blue back splash and the 3 glass shelves. I feel like ripping my kitchen apart, only my husband might have something to say about that.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day!
Fabulous, that is for certain. I'd allow room for more than one stool! Who has one stool in a kitchen?! In the photos it looks fabulous, just that one round pop of color in the foreground to tie back to the turquoise backsplash...but? Not very functional for a household with more than one person. (I guess you could slide another one under the island on the opposite side, but that person would then be in the way of the oven opening.)

This is such a pretty kitchen! I agree with Janell about the stool...there should be more than just one!
ReplyDeleteI love the huge skylight.
ReplyDeleteIt's great! I'm sure I could mess it up pretty quickly!
ReplyDeleteI love this kitchen, and it looks like an interesting work of art over in the corner!
ReplyDeleteI would change into slippers and slide into that great kitchen with an all white apron and let my inner Julia Childs go wild!

Fabulous ice blue color! I generally love blue and white kitchens, they are so inviting promoting restful cooking.
ReplyDeleteI'd choose a different painting. It has bad karma and the yellow is too 'strange' with the kitchen colors. Everything else is smashing!
