Friday Find: Colorful Link Vases


Okay, I didn't exactly find these beauties on my own. House Beautiful featured the cheery vases in their September 2010 issue. Jill Rosenwald designed the series of preppy cylinders for the Spring 2010 NYGift Show and sells them at her store on Etsy. 

I love the idea of using one on my desk to house pens and pencils. What would you do with one of these vases?

    I just came across these today too, and I love them! If there was one large enough, I think it would make a lovely umbrella stand, don't you?

    WE have the blue one (in the back right) on the desk at the shop with pens in it - just brings a smile to my face whenever I see it.

    Loved these when I saw HB! Then, I was in a shop I'd never been to in New Caanan, CT....and there they were! Shop owner said she'd had them all summer. I thought - boy, weren't y'all ahead of the curve!! So many great colors not sure which to choose!!!

    Yes, definitely pens and pencils, but probably kitchen utensils too, maybe a few mini toiletries in the guest bath?

    Since you are local to the SF Bay Area, I wanted to tell you about a wonderful new store/warehouse that is opening up in the City. It's Big Daddy's Antiques. The same Big Daddy's Antiques that is based in LA but is also at the Alameda Antique show every month. Thought you'd enjoy a peruse. They are at 1550 17th just east of the Design district.
